This two-hundred-year-old farmhouse in the village of Yamazoe, Nara, was a discovery that spoke to us. We felt a deep calling to breathe new life into these historic structures—treasures often overlooked—and to bridge the growing divide between the city and the countryside.

Look out upon the rolling satoyama landscape, touch the warmth of the ancient wood, and indulge in the simple, profound luxury of just "being."

The nostalgic scenery of the heartland. The whisper of the wind through the trees. The songs of the birds. In the stillness of this village, the subtle melodies of nature come alive. It is to these "sounds of the village"—the Sato-no-ne—that we invite you to listen. And so, we named this place Satone.

Here, with our private forest at your doorstep, we invite you to distance yourself from the digital world. Surrounded by crisp air and a canopy of stars, feel the tension in your heart slowly begin to unravel.
